Sorry, I need you to relay this message to everyone in 4Endurance.
First, THANK YOU ALL for organising the surprise! I am deeply touched and more so when I watched the photos taken in the hall and the canteen. Yes, you managed to get it done! I applaud you on the speed at which it was done. Fantastic! The photos will always be a fond reminder of Class 4 Endurance.
Thank you also for the jigsaw puzzle. This, I must enlist the help of my sister, the expert jigsaw puzzle solver! Can't wait to get the puzzle done so I get the full picture.
Next, I must apologise for being so "unemotional" and less uncommunicative with quite a number of you. I was actually trying to control my tears and believe me, it WAS difficult! If I hadn't, I would have cried and not been able to stop!!! Most unbecoming, don't you think? SO, it was really tough to act so stoic at such an emotional time! This was this very reason I did not say a proper farewell to the rest of the classes I taught. I knew I would have been a total wreck if did! Do forgive me.
While the time spent with all of you was a short one, it was an enjoyable one. I am most blessed to have been given form teachership of 4 Endurance. Sure, you were at times mischievous, inattentive but never defiant. You knew your limits and were always respectful. Kudos to your great parents who have brought you up well.
Your journey in education may seem tough now, believe me, you will all make it. I know this because all of you have the right attitude towards learning and THAT is the key! Continue to work hard and smart and remember ths chant: YOU CAN, YOU WILL, YOU MUST! Keep repeating this daily and before you know it, you'll be on your way to all As! Also remeber to PRACTISE, PRACTISE, PRACTISE!
I'll try to work out the Oral EL schedule this weekend so I can hand it to you on Monday.
I've attached the lyrics to the song I find most meaningful.Sorry couldnt get the music - too old and artiste not so popular. Will ask my sis to search for it when she's in the US.
